Happy Bhaag Jayegi (2016 film)
Happy Bhag Jayegi is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Anand L. Rai and Krishikla Lulla. The film features Diana Penty, Abhay Deol, Jimmy Shergill, Ali Fazal and Momal Sheikh in the lead roles. The film marks Rai's third collaboration with Eros International after Ranjhanaa (2013) and Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015).
Plot
Movie start with a marriage scene wehere happy runs away from marriage but jumped in wrong truck which leads her to Lahore to Abhay deol (Bilal) place. She then tells him that she wants to call guddu but he does not let her. Eventually, Guddu is brought to Pakistan and they are meant to marry each other. Meanwhile, Bagga finds out and plans to kidnap Happy. Bilal comes and rescues them.

Production
While shooting for the film Raanjhanaa, Abhay Deo was offered the lead role in the film, since it was not a "fill fledged role" in the former. In January 2015, reports suggested that Diana Penty will be starring opposite Deol in the film. In July 2015, it was reported that Ali Fazal will play an important role in the film. In September 2015, it was revealed that Pakistani actress Momal Sheikh will be playing the second lead in the film.
Filming began on 17 September 2015 in Amritsar.
Release
The first look of the film was revealed through the Twitter handle of co-producer Krishika Lulla, on 30 September 2015.
